Ecuador has been removed from the UK’s Covid ‘no go list’ – following suit with all the other countries- apparently due to reappraisal of our excellent Covid statistics.

Colombia has also been given the green light so now all our South America destinations are open to you! Truly good tidings for those that want to get out and explore. Ride Andes’ horse-riding trips cover a lot of ground.

It’s spring in southern South America and soon the summer season will be upon us. We are getting ready for many adventures with riders and their friends and family from all over the world. You can join us under the southern hemisphere sun on the pristine Uruguayan beaches, among the Patagonian glaciers or in the Chilean desert.

Ecuador, straddling the Equator line, and neighbouring Colombia have different options in store for you and -come September- you can join us on a Pantanal Safari viewing jaguars, giant anteaters, toucans, macaws and so much more wildlife.

Bespoke by nature, our unique tours follow ancient Inca highways, and ride with wild horses under active volcanoes. Each evening finds our guests in stunning surroundings. Every day brings fresh discoveries into focus.

As well as routes for guests of all levels of riding ability on board happy, healthy horses, for friends and family that have other activities in mind, we have options that can run parallel with the horseback riding: Mountain biking down the flanks of a volcano? Sustainable practices are part of our everyday life in Ecuador. We shop on horseback, upcycle & repurpose items, make donations to those in need and contribute to conservation.
