COVID-19 UPDATE
We are no longer updating this page regularly.
The Covid situation and each nation’s regulations continue to evolve, so may well change by the time you begin your trip. Please do check regularly on the official government website of the country/countries that you are planning to visit, with the airline you intend to travel with as well as your own government’s travel advice centre before booking a holiday.
We strongly advise you to buy a flexible flight ticket as you can, to purchase trave insurance (travel health insurance including Covid-19 coverage is now mandatory in certain countries) and then to check regularly for any changes made to your flight itinerary and entry regulations.
We are advising guests to, whenever possible, arrive at least a day or two prior to the tour start date.
We do understand the current, more complicated situation, facing those that wish to travel to our far flung destinations so we have put in place helpful and supportive booking conditions, which recognise this situation and make it as safe and secure as possible for you to book directly with Ride Andes.
BOOKINGS, CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT POLICY
We have always and will always do an absolute maximum to help out with rebooking and refunding depending on each individual situation.

Before you have to confirm your participation, we will lay out our conditions regarding cancellation/postponement that are in place should it become necessary for you to make changes due to Covid-19. In many cases, we can even allow you to not only switch itinerary but also switch country should a rescheduling become necessary! We do strongly advise you to take out a travel insurance policy.

Each destination has slightly varying booking terms (owing to the in-country arrangements we make to provide each tour). We will inform you of the exact booking conditions and cancellation options at the time of making the reservation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
-
You’ll need to have appropriate travel insurance at the time of booking your holiday, which covers the full duration of your trip in case of cancellation and/or curtailment
-
Your travel insurance needs to provide cover for all the activities and destinations on your travel itinerary
-
Your policy must cover COVID-19 medical expenses as well as cancellation cover. This should include cancellation prior to travel (in case you are required to medically quarantine), curtailment of your trip and any medical expenses whilst abroad. This has now become a pre-requisite in many countries.
