"I couldn’t have chosen a better tour, the horses were without a doubt the
best schooled horses I have ever ridden, unbelievably receptive and
disciplined yet extremely keen to go. Sally was very mindful of which horses
I rode considering I hadn’t ridden in so long however, the whole time I felt
totally safe allowing me to regain the confidence to cope with the long
rides and rough terrain. The scenery was out of this world with plenty of
opportunities for long gallops. The Haciendas where stunning and the food
fantastic! I can’t recommend Ride Andes highly enough for both advanced and
novice riders, Sally’s horses are a total credit to her dedication and hard
work, they are genuine, hard working spirited animals who are a pleasure to
ride amongst the breath taking scenery of Cotopaxi. I will most definitely

The tour also includes taking part in procession and party, dancing to a local brass band around an enormous bonfire, the traditional ‘vaca loca’ (firework display), lasso lessons, watching a lasso/roping competition which involves teams of 3 people roping Spanish fighting bulls, guided visit around a top Andalucian horse stud farm, visit to condor project with good chance of seeing wild condors, visit to the famous Otavalo market and to the second most important Inca site in Ecuador, city tour of Colonial Quito.
